On Wednesday, May 8, 2024 (Ascension Thursday Eve), a Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 PM in honor of St. Peregrine at the Immaculate Conception Church. St. Peregrine is the Patron Saint of Cancer Patients and is the saint many cancer patients, family members, and friends pray to for comfort and strength.
During the Mass the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be offered to cancer patients and any person who wishes to partake of this Sacrament of God’s Healing. All are welcome.

The Club’s monthly activities will be held on Wednesday, May 1, beginning with the noon Mass. All members are urged to attend as details of the upcoming June fundraiser will be discussed. All members should have already received some information either in an email or letter. It’s not too early to bring in your donations.
Mother’s Day cards and envelopes are available this weekend and should be returned next weekend.

Living the truth
Our hope is real. Our hope is Jesus, who is the true vine. Remain in me, Jesus says, and you will bear fruit. Note that Jesus doesn’t say: You might bear fruit. There’s no “maybe” here. Planted in Christ, with his word of life planted in us, the future harvest is assured. If you want to live the truth, you can. If you remain in Christ, you will.
